I'm Jeff Bechar, and I've spent 35 years leading global sourcing, procurement, and supply chain operations, from management and senior positions inside operating companies to senior roles as a fractional and interim executive.

I founded Summit Sourcing & Supply Chain to bring that same range to small to midsize industrial, consumer, and specialty product companies: companies that might not be the right size for the big consultancies but running supply chains too complex and too important to leave under-resourced.

My work typically concentrates in four places:

• Direct materials sourcing and COGs savings, usually the largest lever in total cost at companies this size, and the capability improvements that make them stick.

• Global sourcing and supplier development across the greater APAC, China, the Americas, and the EMEA regions

• Function build and rebuild, standing up or repairing sourcing, procurement and supply chain organizations that outgrew their own infrastructure.

• Tariff and trade risk response, where a supplier base built for a different decade has become a liability.

I've done this work from both sides, as the executive inside the company and as the outside operator brought in to fix it. That's the perspective I bring to every engagement: hands-on, execution-first, and build for how a company actually runs, not how a textbook says it should.
